Kent, Kirsten and Ben were together in Wrightsville Beach, NC and used the opportunity to talk together about Kirsten’s gender discrimination tort claim notice and eventual departure from West Linn, Oregon. They talk about discrimination, the step-by-step process to stand up for yourself, and Kirsten’s transition from local government practitioner to ELGL Executive Director.
Kirsten Wyatt is the Executive Director and Co-founder of ELGL. Prior to her permanent role with ELGL, Kirsten Wyatt was the Assistant City Manager of West Linn, Oregon.
Before relocating to the Northwest, she served as a Budget Analyst for the Virginia Department of Education; as a graduate assistant with the Town of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; and as a communications consultant with Pacific Public Affairs. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Politics from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon; and a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
